Happy Sunday, My style mantra has always been, try playing with favorite pieces in your closet and never get stuck with one kind of vibe. As long as it suits you, and you are confident and comfortable, that’s all that matters. Most of the time I prefer to wear monochrome, sophisticated outfits as I believe it’s more suited for my age. As much as I’m attractive to a classy look, I like the edgy, and chic dramatic look. The edgy look gets the attention for breaking the rules. For me, being fashionable doesn’t mean you have to wear all designer clothes or buy new items all the time. Usually when I purchase something new, I like to incorporate it with what I have in my wardrobe, if it’s a bag, a new pair of heels, or new clothing. To me personal style is based on your individuality, and how you incorporate, and use what’s trending in your own unique way. Always get creative and use what may already be in your closet to create something new and edgy. I’ve had these overalls over a year now and I love them as they are so comfortable and versatile to wear. I have worn them in my past post {here}. I wore these running errands, with simple sneakers & tank, through last spring and summer. I wanted to attend Vancouver fashion week and thought that something edgy would be more appropriate for the event. This outfit combines the older pieces that I had in my closet. I am in love with my leather jacket which also I have worn in my past blogs {look1, look2}. Fashion trends come and go so to stay in trend I stay away from expensive designer pieces and save up for the classic pieces that I would wear for more then one season. Never be afraid to be creative as long as you stay true to your style and looks good on your body!
