It’s officially fall in Vancouver! Time to get out the comfy sweaters, boots and all the great accessories that compliment a warm fall outfit. I personally do not wear a lot of jewelry, but I love a great watch that stands out and makes a great statement piece. I love vintage and men’s style watches; my absolute favourite being a vintage piece from the 1970’s. However, I fell in love with this chunky, yet sleek, dark wood watch from JORD. It’s of great quality, stylish and affordable.
New beginnings are always exciting and challenging at the same time. I survived the first week of my new job and it was information overload. The advertising industry is creative and it’s a lot of fun, but starting a totally new role, is overwhelming. I am happy to say the least, that I got to be in such creative environment and work with nice people. It has been an overwhelming week for me as tomorrow I am going to start a new position. Going back and forth from the interviews to negotiation, it has taken a lot of time and it’s been hard to find time to blog as my focus was to get the job. Super excited to start the new job but at the same time I am a bit nervous to be in a totally new industry & position. I have always loved to wear off white, creamy colors for fall and winter, but Vancouver is known to be rainy city, and that doesn’t allow me to wear such outfits. Although I can’t complain, we had a fantastic season with lots of sunshine, and very little rain so far. As the weather in Vancouver changes drastically within hours i’m trying to take advantage of the sunny weather like we had few days ago. Continue Reading
