Shades of brown in New York

As I promised in my previous post, here is the second outfit I wore while I was in NYC. Shades of brown in New York City is another favourite outfit of mine that I would never get bored of wearing it. I wore this outfit in Vancouver for an event and had a great reaction from my followers, so I decided to pack it with me. Afterall with my new hair cut might look a bit different 🙂

I bought the pleated skirt from Zara currently on sale for $29. I wish I bought it when it was on sale, but I still think it is worth every penny. Pleated skirts are timeless, and I love the quality of the fabric. It looks expensive and high end rather than from high street stores. I wore the same shoes as the previous look I posted yesterday. I packed light with only two pairs of shoes and the boots that I wore.

It was a beautiful day in New York, and a bit windy, but my sister managed to take a few with my iPhone. Also, I didn’t pack my camera with me as I said above didn’t want to check-in luggage. Somehow I managed to bring enough looks that I could change twice in one day. Sometimes you have to be creative and reuse a few pieces. The blazer is also one of my favourite pieces in my closet that I wear quite often. It’s oversized and gives you enough room for layers without feeling stuffed up. Also from W Concept.

We went to have lunch in Soho neighbourhood a bit of shopping and strolling around the city. I wish I lived in NYC, but for now, I am grateful that I can visit often. I wish you a great day from Vancouver. Can you believe it is snowing hard here?

Spread the love
