Kal Rieman set styled two ways

Kal Rieman set styled two ways

I have been working with Kal Rieman for over a year now and is one of the brands that I would continue working. Kal Rieman is a New York-based designer that offers elegance and straightforward tailoring pieces for working women. The collection uses a menswear influence to create looks for modern women. I recieved this two-piece set last month and I couldn’t wait to wear it. Due to the rainy weather in Vancouver, I wasn’t able to wear or do a shot. Finally, since Friday, the weather has been so amazing that I decided to wear the same set for two events. In this post, I am showing how I styled Kal Rieman set two ways.

When there’s less sunlight to go around, I gravitate towards a winter uniform: all-black-everything. And, while I love to wear monochrome outfits, it’s time to give another shade some love. Grey will be my new shade for the winter season. As you know my usual looks are wearing black, camel or white, mostly neutrals. A Grey outfit is between black and white, so it’s a noncolor, almost refreshing and it looks classy.

Monochrome – Look 1

On Friday I had a meeting with a client and had dinner with my husband afterwards. It was a gorgeous day so I decided to just wear a blazer from SOIA & KYO last season that I have worn on the past here and here

This mink monochrome is perfect for an office outfit and you will look sophisticated and put together. The best part? You don’t have to try hard. I added simple accessories earrings from David Yurman and a Chanel brooch and the new bag in camel colour.

Monochrome – Look 2

Yesterday I had lunch with my husband at one of our favourite spots in Vancouver. I decided to skip the blazer and wear it with my favourite Kinder Salmon wool coat which is also from the last season and is one of my favourite coats in my closet. I added my new bag since it’s almost the same shade as the outfit to keep the look simple and monochrome. Less is more and this outfit is totally that! Simple chic and works well for any occasion!

With the winter coming, I am looking to stock up on heavier garments, in all neutral colours such as trousers, skirts or dresses. The reason why I love this set so much, not only it’s super stylish but is super warm and comfy! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and are ready for Monday 🙂 Aurela x
