When In Paris – The Leather Trend

While in Paris I wore this beautiful leather coat that I fell in love with it the min I saw. The leather trend it’s huge at the moment and you need to invest in a good one for the Fall & Winter. Even if you don’t want to buy traditional leather many brands like Nanushka offer vegan or faux leather that are designed to keep you warm and look fashionable. When I was in Paris the leather trend was everywhere. From the fashion shows, I attended, to visiting the showrooms. Every girl walking on the street of Paris wore the trend.

You know by now that I love Scandinavian and Parisian style. AĆ©ryne is a Swedish fashion brand I discovered while I was in Paris. The designs are inspired by the effortless simplicity of the Scandinavian style. I had the pleasure to attend the launch preview of the SS20 collection and the coat was my favourite piece. Don’t get me wrong I want all the collection but the coat is TDF. The faux leather is so soft and the colour is great for the cold season. If you live in Vancouver with the amount of rain we have this coat would make you look fashionable and keep you dry. As I stylist in Vancouver, I suggest all my clients get a coat or a dress, you can also buy a pair of leather trousers, short blazer, shorts or shirts!

Do you want to embrace the 80’s fashion leather trend that is currently dominating 2019 street looks? Invest in e leather piece that you think would look good on you and you can wear on repeat! You wear dresses often?

Below are a few of my favourite pieces! I hope you like the trend as much as I do! Happy Friday, Aurela!
