I have always loved to wear off white, creamy colors for fall and winter, but Vancouver is known to be rainy city, and that doesn’t allow me to wear such outfits. Although I can’t complain, we had a fantastic season with lots of sunshine, and very little rain so far. I love summer with its sandals and feminine dresses, but the start of autumn is one my favorite times of the year. As summer fades into autumn I’m completely obsessed with ivory, cream and camel color pallets, which gives you that classy, chic elegant vibe. Mixing camel with nudes is one of my favor color palettes for autumn. The reason why I love the color camel is that it makes everything look more expensive than it really is. Which is amazing!

The Nordstrom store finally opened, a few days ago, in Vancouver. Since I was away for the opening gala in California, I read the news about the event and was sad that I didn’t get to attend such a great fashion show. I visited the store yesterday and I must say the store is beautiful, better than I imagined. The problem is, the store is only a few blocks from my home, which could be a dangerous shopping situation! Anyway, the damage was done. I saw this structured classy bag from Ted Baker and fell in love with it. It’s an investment piece, classy not so expensive compared to other designer bags and it goes with everything from business meetings to a night out in town.

I love September! Yes, I love the fall season, the colors around the city are amazing which gives the city that perfect fall vibe. September is the perfect time to start wearing layers. I love wearing layers, mixing feminine and masculine elements together gives a hint of softness and boldness at the same time. I returned from sunny California and came back to Vancouver fall weather. Even though I loved the hot Californian weather, I am so happy to be back in Vancouver. I shot this outfit before I let for California, when we still had sunny weather.
