Deighton Cup Look!

imageThis weekend has been a busy, fun filled few days of enjoyment; boating, dinner with my friends and spending time with my fiancé. On Saturday, as you may have seen from my Instagram post, we attended The Deighton Cup for the very first time. I have always wanted to attend in years past as I’m crazy in love with horses. I wish I knew how to ride myself! The Deighton Cup is similar to The Kentucky Derby. Everyone is dressed to the nines in fascinators, big hats, stunning dresses and handsome full piece suits. Nautical Stripes!

Don’t you love Friday’s ? That feeling when you don’t have to think about work and can make plans for the weekend. I’ve decided to come straight from work to the beach house in Point Roberts. Although I got stuck in traffic for about 2 hours, it was worth it. My fiancé was already there working on the boat and since it was a gorgeous day we decided to go for a spin.
