Spring & Summer Edition – How to Wear Stripes

Spring & Summer Edition – How to Wear Stripes. The Spring is in full bloom in Vancouver. The only thing that I am thankful for this quarantine is the fresh, clean air. The city feels so refreshing, and the greenery makes beautiful scenery and walking in the town feels fantastic. I decided to go for a walk in the harbour today and enjoy the gorgeous weather. For me, stripes are a must-have in a closet, and they always look chic with anything. I put together another outfit to show you how to wear white pants for Spring – Summer.

Since I did some shopping at Zara, which included this stripe top, and a few other pieces which I will show you on my next post. Also, if you follow me on Instagram, I will post an IGTV video with everything I purchased recently.

Since I went for a walk in the harbour and been dreaming about the French Rivera, I wore this nautical look. I paired the top with wide-leg trousers that I adore so much, my husband blazer and wore it with the new bag from Paris, which sent to me as a gift. It is a chic and elegant look that you can pull off with any white pants you might have in your closet. As you might know, I adore French style. The stripe top cost only 15$ at Zara and will go with pretty much everything in your wardrobe.

Wear them with cute culottes and espadrilles and finish the look with a scarf accessory for a summer outfit. You can wear paper bag trousers, belted and kitten heels. Stripes go well with jeans and a trench coat, white pants, a skirt or shorts for the beach days. The possibilities are endless.

The thing about stripes, particularly the striped top, is that it works with everything in my closet. I love to wear it for all kinds of occasions, and it’s a staple in my suitcase for vacation. Even if I don’t have plans to wear it, I almost always pack it as a backup! I hope you like stripes just as much as I do. Aurela x
