How to wear a plaid suit to work or going out
The business attire can be challenging, and creating the perfect balance of workwear and style can be tricky. Currently, I am crushing on the plaid suits and here are a few styling tips on how to wear the suit this fall.
There’s nothing I love more than creating outfits with simple and classic pieces. A great suit you can wear from work to happy hour. You can wear a suit almost to any occasion. I have a lot of DM from all of my followers with questions: “I need pieces in my wardrobe that I can wear to the office and happy hours afterwards. So the answer is – “buy a good suit”. Wearing a suit to work doesn’t have to look dull. I wear suits almost to date nights, meetings and all the events I go to.
With that in mind, I wanted to create a look with my newest pieces for fall. As you might have seen from my Instagram posts, I love wearing suits. Not only you look polished at the office, but a suit also seems suitable for any occasion paired with the right accessories. I wore this plaid suit from Baum und Pferdgarten to the Paris fashion week. The slim cut on the long trousers creates an illusion of long legs for the petite women. The timeless plaid keeps the feel of the chic style utterly classic.

What would be the perfect suit for your fall wardrobe? A menswear-inspired checked suit is modern and can be worn in an endless amount of ways. Pair them with a button-up shirt, kitten heels for a stylish boss babe look. Swap the button shirt for a turtleneck instead and booties for the colder days. Add sneakers and a cozy sweater for the office casual days. Are you headed to an event? Pair the suit with a sheer blouse instead!
