Winter Veil Beanie & Layers

Greeting Fashionistas,

I hope you had a fabulous weekend!  As you might have noticed I love accessories, specially hats. The toque, often referred to as the winter veil beanie, adds an edge to  any outfit and is one of my favorite winter accessories, since it was introduced by Jil Sander‘s  in her 2012 catwalk collection. The veil adds a sense of mystery, a perfect mix of posh which also gives it an instant elegant look.

Since Vancouver’s weather has been so amazing I’ve been dressing up with very light layers like this one. I love the zipper detail on the side for the pants that I’m wearing from Zara.  It’s so edgy and very stylish. I paired the pants with my favorite light leather jacket from Mango that I have had in my closet for over a decade. Experimenting with layers, I added a coat from HM to polish the look, black heels from Nine West, and the perfect tote Prada bag. For more of a dramatic look try adding bold lips, made up lashes with tons of mascara, and statement earrings.
