HM Vest – Look 1
If you are on social media, you probably have seen the vest trend all over INSTAGRAM and TikTok. Most girls, especially younger girls, wear it with an oversized white shirt and chunky boots. However, being much older, I don’t think those OOTD are appropriate for my age. I love to be stylish, but at the same time, I want to dress for my age. Having said that, the looks I am showcasing in this post are great for work or going out. All the looks are simple, clean and elegant. Add a blazer or a coat over it, and you ready to go for a night out. For the office, add a blouse or a turtle neck underneath the vest, and you look chic and work appropriately.
HM Vest – Look 2
The vest is very versatile and a great layer for the fall and winter season. Wear it over a shirt, a tee, turtleneck, or knit dress with long boots for a classic outfit. The vest would look great with denim or culottes or a skirt. Pick black or natural colour for more wear options. Ganni Vest looks
The vest knit trend has been seen on the runways of Dior, Prada, during the runway shows and has appeared in collections by contemporary brands, including Ganni. Effortless chic, preppy, cool girl, the vest rend fits into all fashion categories and ages. One reason I love the trend, and most likely, I will wear it on repeat for the upcoming months.
