I love wearing a party dress here and there or keeping up with the trends that look good on me, but my closet is full of minimalist pieces that I wear on repeat. And yes they are all black, whites or stripes. It’s a combination that I love to wear and I feel that looks good on me and fits my style. Tailored pieces and menswear inspired looks, have always been my preference when dressing up. Palm Springs – Black and White!

Greetings from California!

A few days ago I arrived in Palm Springs to spent some time in the sun with my sister. Since my sister moved to Toronto for work, the best way to visit is when we both take time off work and meet somewhere. Last time I saw her was in New York for my 40th birthday trip. With the winter around the corner we decided to fly to California and catch some rays and spend time with each other. We both love the sunshine and Palm Springs is the best spot for it. Casual – Black & White!

Greetings, 

If I have to wear one thing for the rest of my life it would be a black and white combo. Each outfit you create with black and white you will end up with a chic, sophisticated, minimalistic look. And it is so simple to achieve, you don’t need to think a lot. As some of you might know I am a mother of a 19 year old boy that I love to death. He is studying back east and I had him home for the summer. He likes that I am fashionable but sometimes he feels more at ease when I dress more casually rather too dressed up. So each time I go out with him I try to not overdress. So I thought this outfit would be simple and classy for his farewell dinner that we had before he left for his third year of university.
