The leather trend is continuing to be a big trend going into Spring 2020. Leather was spotted on spring 2020 runways from New York to Paris. From colourful jackets from Marni to Bottega Veneta skirts to spring colourful leather skirt from Prada.
I recieved this leather jacket/dress from Revolve last week, and I wanted to do a blog post on the leather trend as its one of my favourite trends. I wore the trend last year in Paris for the fashion week continued to wear it. The leather trend is edgy and the most surprising but wearable trend. It looks good on every woman, in my opinion, if chosen the right pieces.
Yesterday it was finally a beautiful day after so many months of none stop rainy days. I was happy to get out and enjoy the sunshine after also being sick for one week with a bad flue. It felt good to be outside, soaking all the sun. I had a meeting yesterday for a feature coming up. I wore the new leather jacket as a dress with Gucci tights and Zara boots, which are currently on sale right now. The best boots I own. Not only are they stylish, but they are so comfy, and the little edge gives a bit of hight.
The leather trend made an appearance in just about every form of clothing during the fashion week this season. From shirts and dresses to shorts and trench coats, leather is going to be everywhere in 2020. If you are on a budget, many high street stores currently carry many beautiful leather pieces that you can add in your wardrobe for the Spring season. Zara, Massimo Dutti, COS Stores, H&M all have many leather pieces that I LOVE at the moment. I hope you like the trend just as much as I do!
