Vancouver has been really hot the last few weeks, which is unusual to have heatwaves in our city. Although I love hot weather, dealing with this heat has been a challenge since we have no AC in our condo. We usually go to our beach house in Point Roberts, but the borders are still close. Since I haven’t posted for a while, I wanted to show you a recap of the latest summer looks I have worn in this post. Wearing a dress from SS2021 Mithridate
Pretty in Pink
I wore this three-piece linen suit a couple of weeks ago to a staycation for my birthday, which he had in Shangri-La. As you know I love wearing suits and this will be one of my favourite summer suits. I can’t wait to go back to Europe to wear it while travelling to Italy or France.
This was the first and last time seeing myself in a swimming suit. As I mentioned before, with no travels and no access to the beach house, I don’t see myself wearing a bikini any time soon unless the borders will be open before summer ends. I bought the suit and the straw hat at HM for my staycation at Shangri La.
Date Nights Outfits
This dress which I recently got from Dissh is a must-have black dress for summer. It is sexy yet elegant. The dress fits like a glove and is a great dress for a date night. Let’s say it is my husband’s favourite look I have worn. I paired the dress with Bottega heels and Chloe’s small bag, and golden jewelry.
Another linen dress from Dissh I also got recently wore to my GF bbq get-together party. I love the colour and the simplicity. I wore it with the Hermes sandals and a vintage clutch.
Neutral look for a Wine Tasting
My husband took me to Okanhagen for a summer gateway and wine tasting. Probably my favourite summer trip I had since the pandemic started. I wore a natural look, an Oroton dress, sneakers and added an old Zara linen blazer since It was a bit chilly that day.
I had drinks with my girlfriend, and everything I am wearing is from last summer except for the bag which I got from Oroton. For some reason, I have been wearing many colours this summer, and yellow is such a fun colour for summer.
I don’t wear much denim during summer days, but I wear them during the day to run errands when the weather cools off. Zara denim, Muse for all top and a new bag from Rebecca Minkoff.
Penticton Getaway trip
I join my husband in Penticton on his business trip. I wore Mango activewear with a white oversized shirt, sneakers and a shopping straw bag that I bought while I was there for a grocery run.
All that Fringe
The full look is from HM Studio, which I love and my favourite Balenciaga heels. I wore the look to a meeting.
Again I love wearing suits, and this natural HM light summer suit is perfect to wear to work or on date night. The second suit is my husband, which I wore for a photo shoot in collaboration with My Parterre.
My go-to look when the weather is not as hot. Probably my most shared picture on Instagram.
I purchased the dress in February from Zara. The fringe detail was the selling point for me. It is the perfect dress to wear all seasons.
Bringing the 90s back
I always loved the 80s and 90s aesthetic and the cropped blazers. Recently I went vintage local shopping and found this metallic bra which I thought would be a perfect layer accessory for special looks. I wore it as a bra underneath the suit to achieve that 90s look. Which look is your favourite?
