Hi all, sorry I have been MIA. With our wedding approaching, I have been busy making sure everything is taken care off. Today, I want to share with you some exciting news. A six-page story published in one of the biggest fashion lifestyle magazines in Albania called LIVING. The story is about my style and my life in Canada. When the editor approached me on Instagram, I was flattered and was so excited about the feature. I left my country almost 25 years ago, and to be chosen as a fashion influencer for the summer edition for my country is an honour. I can’t wait for a copy!
Since my fiancee isn’t a professional photographer, I collaborated with Belluxe Photography by Samineh for an editorial photoshoot. Happy to say that she is flying to Italy to capture our special day, our wedding. She is but amazing!
For the photoshoot, I picked a few of my favourite summer looks. I will share all of them in my upcoming posts, but today I wanted to share the first look featured on the cover story. Besides stripes, lately, I am also a huge fan of polka dots. The dress is from Maje Paris currently 50% on sale! The midi style creates a real optical illusion that is oh-so eye-popping. To keep it simple I paired the dress with my favourite Dior shoes and added the overside hat for a high fashion look. I had people stare at me and complimented me on this look, and some thought I was out of town even 🙂
If I attended Paris fashion week (which I’m working on it) since I will be in Europe after our wedding, this would be my top look to pack. It’s simple and so darn chic. You can add bold leopard heels if you are a maximalist. Wish you a great summer!
