Neutrals and how to wear 2019’s Hottest Trend

There is no denying that neutrals have always been my go-to outfit for my daily looks. My wardrobe is full of different shades of neutrals. If you love neutrals and struggle how to war them below are a few tips on how to wear the 2019 hottest trend.

Is something about neutrals that I love, not only does it take no effort to throw together shades of cream, ivory, and beige, there’s something luxe about these wintery hues. A monochrome neutral look is it’s always a classic and very chic attire.  I always strive to look effortless, which is the key to neutral dressing.

The secret to wearing neutral head-to-toe is layering textures and tones together. You can also wear a head-to-toe neutral look and make it your own without trying too hard. I am showing you two looks that are so similar but yet look different from adding different accessories and naturals.

1. Mix textures and tones together

Try combining all textures and tones. Pick some pieces with statement materials such as linen, knits, wool, denim and pair them with softer ones made of cotton and silk. For example, a cozy knit with a silk dress or skirt creates a feminine silhouette. Add different accessories, belts, scarfs, bags, jewellery of same shade or black.

2. Go full monochrome

Dressing in a head to toe in the same shade may sound boring, but it is one of the easiest way to look effortless. Wear slightly different hues of the same colour (like white, ivory and beige or nude). A full ivory and cream ensembles are always elegant and look good on everybody if you pick the right pieces for your body shape. I prefer to wear oversized pieces, but you can wear a midi pencil skirt or fitted cigarette pants instead with a basis matched sweater and the same shade of heels.
