For more than a year now, I’ve set myself a simple goal for every clothing purchase. I prefer to have quality vs quantity. It forces me to think about just how much I want those shoes or each item of clothing I add to my wardrobe, how much I’ll wear it, and whether I think the value it’s worth it. It’s an entirely personal goal that I feel helps me buy less and enjoy my new purchases more.
If you’ve ever found yourself buying clothes just because they’re cheap, I’ve got a proposal. Forget fast fashion stores and head over to the Luxury Consignment stores. I know not everybody can afford luxury goods but believe
If you are a fashion addict like me, I research items I want to add to my wardrobe. As Carrie Bradshaw said, shopping is my cardio. The first step I check all my favourite consignment stores in Vancouver and then online if I don’t find what I am looking for in the stores. My last recourse would be going to Nordstrom or recheck the online for sales or deals. I have over 3o pair of designer shoes, and none I’ve paid full price.
Unlike any other luxury resale boutiques, my experience at Turnabout Luxury Resale Store has been amazing. I’ve been consigning the clothes that I no longer wear to this store and love it. I am beyond happy how fast it sells and how friendly the stuff is. I fell in love with this Christian Dior ‘J’Adior’ plaid jacket from the Spring 2018 Runway. It retails approx. $3000 and you can score this beauty at Turnabout for $1495. I think it is worth it if you want to add timeless pieces into your wardrobe. Also, this Chanel trouser that I am wearing you can purchase them at the store. They are flattering for any body type. The quality is good and you will wear them often enough to justify your purchase. If you live in Vancouver area head over to all Turnabout stores to find great selection pieces at a reasonable price!
