Head-to-toe Winter White

Hello Fashionistas,

This week has been a crazy one, bittersweet I must say. I’ve been living with my baby sister for over a decade and today she moved back East for work. Last year my son moved to attend university, and now my sister is gone. It was a sad day as I said goodbye to her, but at the same time I am so happy and proud as she begins a new journey. We’ve traveled the world together, shared clothes, laughs, and memories. I was usually in charge of the shopping and creating outfits, even though we have different styles. She is more of a preppy girl and I am more into the monochrome chic look. Before she left we decided to get a new outfit to wear for her farewell dinner party. Blame it on the gorgeous Vancouver weather, but this winter I am obsessed with ultrachic winter whites. I’ve been lusting over this trend from afar for a very long time. Living in Vancouver for so many years, with the nonstop rainy season, I never really had the chance to explore the winter white trend. I am so happy that this winter the rain has disappeared and the sun is out. There is nothing better than dressing up when its gorgeous outside, like it was this weekend. I found this white blazer from Zara that I think is the perfect piece to wear for every season. I pulled out my favorite white Lanvin heels and paired them with skinny white jeans from Topshop. Would you believe that my sister said this outfit is one of her favorites, and I agree. It is chic, simple, and very sophisticated.

I’m looking forward to more sunny days in Vancouver and excited that I am going to visit my sister in Toronto this spring so I can wear more of my favorite winter whites pieces.
