Wardrobe Staple – Black Leather

Greetings fashionistas,

I am so happy that the leather trend is big this season. Now with more of an edge, leather is becoming a winter style staple. I’ve switched classic denim jeans for these black leather pants and I’ve been wearing them constantly. They are comfortable, warm, and easy to style. I remember a couple of years ago when I went to a Rihanna concert, I wanted to look like a rock’n girl and chic at the same time. I bought these pants at H&M from the 2013 autumn collection and it was love at first sight. The minute I saw them, I knew that they would work perfectly for a concert outfit. At the concert, I wore them with black stilettos and a simple white button shirt.If you go out casually, you could go for a simple outfit such as jeans and a sweater. But when you switch the jeans to leather, the outfit goes up a notch without even trying. And that’s why I love these leather pants. I went for lunch on the weekend wearing this outfit and I loved it. Paired with a white shirt, a simple top or for a slightly more casual look try them with a sweater.
