NLA Designs Photoshoot, Vancouver BC.
On June 15th, I attended the exclusive NLA Designs Summer 2016 ‘Swoon’ event at Fine Finds boutique in Yaletown, Vancouver where I was invited to shoot with fellow fashion bloggers at an upcoming photo shoot. Upon arrival to the photo shoot, each blogger was given the opportunity to pick their favourite dress. I, naturally, went for the stripe dress. You know how obsessed I am with stripes! I choose to style the dress with a funky hat for that vintage vibe. Taking pretty pictures in front of a polka dot Porsche while people watched and walked by made for a fun event ?
Inspired by a desire to create a single dress that can adjust to the wearer’s body shape, enhance curves, disguise less than perfect features and create a balanced silhouette, designer Nicolette Lang-Andersen (the creative force behind NLA Designs) dreamt up the Summer ‘16 Swoon Collection to offer the modern woman a comfortable dress with classic flavour, fresh and playful fabrics. With a choice of two crisp and lively patterns and two versatile solids, the limited edition Summer ’16 Swoon Collection can easily swing between morning coffee with girlfriends, a day at the office or stepping out to a chic dinner.
