I hope you all have a nice weekend. There’s no denying that a black and white look is one of my favorite go-to’s, no matter what the season. I think it’s a chic, sophisticated, and clean look. This creamy white coat is close to my heart because my sweetheart gave it to me as a Christmas gift. He is attending his second year at the University of Queens back East and I miss him terribly. When he asked me at christmas, “mommy what do you want for christmas?”, I told him to get me anything white from forever21, knowing that the store has less expensive pieces. I didn’t want him to spend a lot of money since he is a university student. I never thought that he knew me so well and got me THE perfect white coat that I wanted to add to my winter wardrobe collection for so long. It’s very stylish, cozy and easy to wear for a casual or dressed up look. I paired the coat (for my boyfriends birthday dinner party) with this old pencil skirt from Marciano that I had it in my closet for very long time. I was opting for a sophisticated, minimalist look, so I kept the look simple. The best thing about this coat is that is so versatile. You can wear it casual with sneakers, jeans and a sweater, or you can go for more femine look if you wear it with a dress that is monochrome or floral.
It has is been in my closet for couple of months now and I have worn it over and over because I’m in love with it.
