Birthday Celebration !

You might have seen on my Instagram that it was my birthday on Thursday.  It’s been a crazy weekend since then. I went to dinner with my family on Thursday, and Saturday we had a party at the beach house, celebrating Canada Day and my birthday with our friends.  It was lots of fun but I feel so exhausted from all the drinking and preparation.

The black dress that I wore to dinner on Thursday has a funny story behind it. My girlfriend texted me while she was shopping at one of our favourite consignment stores in Vancouver, Mine&Yours. She sent me a picture with the exact dress asking me if I liked it. Of course I rushed to the store to see it in person since I loved it from the picture she sent me.  I tried it on and I told her that I wanted it. We both wanted to get the dress so we ended up compromising that I have to lend it to her one day if she has an event to go to 🙂  I didn’t think much of it and said DONE! The dress it’s so fabulous, I couldn’t resit buying it.  I paired the dress with my favourite Charlotte Olympia shoes that I adore so much. For a moment it felt like I was “Carrie Bradshaw”, it must have been the shoes and the balloons:) 

Want to thank The PeachBox for the fabulous bracelets which I received exactly on my birthday. The Gold Buckle Bangles completed my glam birthday look.
