Black on black is always a good idea! I’ve had a love affair with black all my life. It’s timeless, chic, and an easy go-to when wearing a trend. I love it because it’s so elegant and sliming and can be worn all year around. This time I wanted to go for a monochrome edgy badass look. Blame it on my shoes! When I dress up I always start with the shoes. Yes, you might have noticed like many women, I love shoes. You can never have enough shoes.
When I started my spring cleaning I spotted one of my favorite pairs of sandals that I’ve had for years in my closet. My friend bought these shoes for my birthday back in the day and I remember I fell in love as soon as I lay my eyes on them. They are so edgy and can take your outfit to next level. Like for this outfit, I paired them with my favorite culotte pants. Culottes are officially the new must-have pants for spring and the hottest trend at the moment. I absolutely love them! It gives a rest to your skinny black jeans for some easy breezy fresh air to your legs. They are the perfect piece for an easy transition from winter to spring and summer. You can wear them with a crop top like this outfit, making it classy by tucking in a shirt and layered with a trench coat or with a simple stripe shirt for a formal look.
