How to Transition your summer dress into the fall season

How to Transition your summer into fall seasonIt’s sad that summer has gone so quick and now Vancouver’s weather has changed within a day from summer to autumn. Don’t get me wrong I love the fall season, but I feel that our summer in Vancouver is very short. To tell you the truth I haven’t even worn half of my summer dresses due to our short summer days. I am hoping that we have a bit of warmer days in the South of France for our upcoming trip.

I went to dinner with my husband on Friday, and I wanted to wear this beautiful summer dress that I bought a few months ago at Topshop and I only worn it once for the Albanian Living Magazine photoshoot. A blazer is probably my go-to for staying warm in the AC in a sundress, but a checkered blazer is an unexpected autumn-appropriate twist. It’s a perfect combination to mix masculine and feminity. A leather jacket would look great with a summer dress, a great layering element that fits the season. A white shirt underneath a summer dress is a great trick to look chic and be warm for the early days of the fall season. Layering is the best trick to transition your summer dresses into fall.

As you know, I am travelling to Europe next week for our wedding, and I am so excited. We had a lovely civil ceremony last week, and I am hoping our wedding would be just as beautiful. With a few days away to pack I am hoping I can wear all my lovely summer dresses that I haven’t had a chance to wear in Vancouver. Surely I will I pack my favourite blazer and a light cardi with me so that I can be warm for the chilly weather!
