Travel Diaries – First Stop Milan

Hello guys! I am back and ready to update you on my travel diaries, my wedding and our honeymoon. I returned to Vancouver last week and honestly, today is the first day I feel more myself. I’ve been so jetlagged and tired to do anything. Last night I managed to go to the gym for the first time after a month break. As you know, we travelled to Europe for our wedding.

The first stop on our travelling journey was Milan. The great thing about Milan is how diverse the city is, not only for the fashion vibe but the architecture and the history is mind-blowing. I’ve been to this city a few times, and I have always wanted to visit during the fashion week. However, this year since newlywed I decided to come home with my husband as he couldn’t take more time off from his work.

Due to our flight delayed in London, we arrived in Milan quite late, precisely 1 Am. Soon as we checked to our hotel, I slept in, and the next day we felt rested and ready to explore the city. We did all the major touristy things, ate, drunk cappuccinos while enjoying the vibe of the town. I was a bit bumped because the weather was a bit gloomy and rained for a bit I still was happy to walk around the city. I love Europe and every time I go back I feel the most content. The only thing I regret is that I wasn’t as relaxed as I should have been because of stress about our wedding. However, our short stay was terrific and a great first stop.

As I mentioned above, it was overcast, and this striped suit from Mango saved me. Stylish, comfy and timeless. I paired the look with a favourite bag of mine from Ame Moi and slides from Bill Blass. Next, I will update on our next stop, Lake Como and our wedding preparations.
