The maxi dress is the ultimate show stopping glamour and this season is no exception. I love maxi dresses because of the way they move. It needs to be long, it needs to flow and be picked up by the wind. When you put a print on top of it, then it’s magical. For the Spring & Summer season I adore elegant flowing dresses. As a petite women (I am 5’4) I feel that it makes me look taller and slender. I have so many in my closet and can’t wait to wear them this Spring.
This long maxi skirt & shirt I purchased at local online boutique that carries flow maxi dresses. I feel in love with the colors and the material. It’s a bit too long for me and I should have altered it a bit before I wore it. Knowing myself when I buy new outfits I can’t wait to wear them the minute I purchased them. I usually am a size small and this skirt is extra small, in case you are petite order XS. Vancouver in the Spring is the most gorgeous city. It has lots of green scenery, and lately the weather it has been absolutely amazing. I went to dinner with my girlfriend and since it was a gorgeous day I decided to pair it with my gladiator sandals that my sister bought for me last year. She always spoils me and I absolutely love those sandals, they are comfortable and very trendy right now. Layered with my leather jacket, that I have worn on my other posts (first look & second look & third look).
It might come across that I have lots of clothes, but the truth is that I wear my clothes many different ways and to create at least 4-5 outfits. I don’t buy anything if I can’t wear it with many outfits. I spend more money on basics that are good quality and will last for long time. If I purchase trendy clothes I visit Forver21 & HM that are more affordable since trendy clothes go out style very quickly. Classy pieces are timeless and are investment, like maxi dresses, blazer, white crispy shirt, LBD, bags, coats, and stilettos.
Have a great weekend!
