Crop Top & Stripes!

I love stripes ! A stripe is no longer a trend, is a style staple.  I started my love affair with stripes when I was a little girl and fell in love with Audrey Hepburn and, my major icon fashion crush, Coco Chanel. I’ve worn stripes all my adulthood and I can’t get enough of this look. It’s obvious from my previous posts that I’m obsessed with stripes which you can see here : {look 1, look 2, look 3, look 4 } See, now you know 🙂  Continue Reading

Greetings Fashionistas,

The Nordstrom store finally opened, a few days ago, in Vancouver. Since I was away for the opening gala in California, I read the news about the event and was sad that I didn’t get to attend such a great fashion show. I visited the store yesterday and I must say the store is beautiful, better than I imagined. The problem is, the store is only a few blocks from my home, which could be a dangerous shopping situation! Anyway, the damage was done. I saw this structured classy bag from Ted Baker and fell in love with it. It’s an investment piece, classy not so expensive compared to other designer bags and it goes with everything from business meetings to a night out in town.

As much as I love to add new things to my closet, sometimes just shopping your closet and using what you already have is better for your wallet. I love my classic pieces that I’ve had in my closet for a long time. Continue Reading

When Black Meets Red!

Hello fashionistas,

I found that as I get older my style has evolved into a more polished, classy, and sophisticated look to met my age and my body.  I know what works for me and what doesn’t and that probably comes from my evolving style! I don’t usually wear red and I haven’t owned any red items in my wardrobe until I bought this beautiful red skirt. I tend to wear light pastel tones like grey, nude, brown, and black-white. I came across this red skirt when I was looking for something special to wear at an Andrea Bocelli concert that I am going to see soon with my boyfriend. Continue Reading
