Staying Warm and Stylish !

Vancouver weather has been so cold and depressing lately. We have had lots of snow and minus degree weather, which is so unusual for this city. All I want to do is crawl in my bed and watch Netflix. Seriously, it is kind of depressing me! I can’t wait for the spring season!

When it’s freezing out, the struggle to look fashionable while staying warm can be a challenge. Wearing layers is one of the key things to remember when dressing in cold weather. There are endless layering possibilities that you can use to keep warm and look stylish. Your foundation should be a button-down, a cardigan, jeans and a coat. It’s as simple as that. An oversized scarf and a beanie are my favourite cold weather accessories as both are very versatile, practical and super-stylish. Besides your beanie and gloves, wear long sleeves tops or fitted camisoles to keep you warm. Nude would be a great option if you wear it underneath a white button shirt as I have in this outfit.

However, the key piece should always be your coat and a camel coat would always be my first choice. It makes you look stylish and keep you warm at the same time. As I have mentioned on my previous posts, I own few camel coats and this is another new addition to my camel coat collection. I am obsessed with this military style coat from JollyChic, as it looks edgy and stylish when you wear it with jeans and classy chic when you pair it with black trousers. I wore it with jeans to keep it edgy and paired it with a simple button down white shirt and heels. The oversized white shirt allowed me to wear my nude long sleeve top underneath to keep me extra warm 🙂

I have 3 coats from JollyChic and they are equally stylish and great quality. I have posted the grey coat here. Make sure to check them out, enjoy 10% off, and valid for two months using code “aurelalacaj” !
