Purple at La Quinta Resort! - Aurela

Greetings,

Shopping, chilling by the pool, and trying out new delicious food, was our agenda for me and my sister for this trip. And one of our favourite spots was La Quinta Resort. We went for dinner one evening sitting outside enjoying our margaritas with live music. It was an amazing night, not only because of the great meals we had but the atmosphere was spectacular. From cozy casitas to spacious villas, all rooms are surrounded by lush gardens, sparkling pools and waterfalls. Beautiful grounds and decor with a gorgeous backdrop of the desert mountains. I will definitely go back for a weekend with my boyfriend. It’s a lovely quick getaway specially escaping the rainy days like us in Vancouver.

I chose to wear this beautiful BCBG captivating body-con dress that I’ve had in my closet forever and love it since the first day I bought it. It hugs your curves, and is effortlessly alluring yet timelessly sophisticated. Plus the colour of the dress was perfect for the Californian sunshine. I returned to Vancouver few days ago from Palm Springs and the weather has changed drastically. It’s been so cold that I just want to be in my cozy clothes and stay inside. I love Californian weather which makes dressing up easy. You don’t have to worry about rain on rain or cold temperature.

I have to get through all my pictures from my trip and post them once I have more free time. I’m still adjusting to my new work and to the weather change of Vancouver. I guess I am a summer girl more than winter.
