Nautical Stripes!

Don’t you love Friday’s ? That feeling when you don’t have to think about work and can make plans for the weekend. I’ve decided to come straight from work to the beach house in Point Roberts. Although I got stuck in traffic for about 2 hours, it was worth it. My fiancé was already there working on the boat and since it was a gorgeous day we decided to go for a spin. I am glad we did as today it’s pouring. I don’t mind it, I need some rest and catching up on my sleep.

If you are boating, sailing, or anything related with the sea, I always choose to wear stripes. It’s easy breezy and effortless, pretty much my uniform. On my last post I mentioned that I collaborated with She-Inside on a few summer pieces. This classic navy-and-white-striped skirt  is a timeless piece that’s reminiscent of a seaside resort. It works not only for boating, but through out the summer.  If you are stripe crazy as I am, this skirt will be great to have on hot summer days.

I paired the skirt with my favourite top from Zara that I wore on my last trip in Roatan. I combined both of them with my timeless watch from Daniel Wellington for an effortless boat chic vibe look.

I hope you like it just as I do. Have a great weekend and stay tuned for my shoot that I recently had with a local designer.

Happy Weekend!
